Michelle is a free lance photographer, bookbinder, published author and museum professional. She earned her Masters of Arts in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University, in Berkeley, California, and her undergraduate degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.
She has over 15 years of experience as a photographer, has won prizes for her work and has been published in numerous magazines. Michelle recently published A History of the San Francisco State Belt which she co-authored with railroad historian Bill Kaufman. She also co-authored Modern San Rafael 1940-2000, with Jocelyn Moss, Librarian at the Marin History Museum. Both are available nation-wide.
Michelle is currently working on a World War One re-photography book and is consulting on a museum exhibition out of state while she continues her photography and bookbinding projects.
